Buffalo PBA Mission;
To negotiate collectively with the City of Buffalo in the determination of terms and conditions of employment, and act as the exclusive bargaining agent on behalf of all City of Buffalo Police Officers
To promote greater economic status and better working conditions for City of Buffalo Police Officers.
To promote greater acknowledgement from the public of Police Officers as members of their profession.
To serve as a means of exchanging information among member police associations on matters of common interest.
To propose, support, and promote favorable legislation.
To oppose legislation detrimental to the interest of police officers and contrary to the good of the public.
To give aid and assistance to police officers and police associations wherever possible.
To promote a completely democratic society within the Executive Committee which is composed of Delegates elected from each District, Bureau, Division etc...
The Buffalo Police Benevolent Association is working diligently to improve the terms and conditions of employment for all the brave men and women of the Buffalo Police Department.
Our membership consists of both active and retired uniformed police officers, detectives, detective sergeants, lieutenants, captains and inspectors.
The PBA is dedicated to protecting the interests of our members.
